WHO WE ARE
Making electric vehicles fun & attractive to ride, but also safe, accessible to many & eco-friendly.
Developing blockchain enabled hardware and software solutions.
Exposing vehicle data through a collection of software services
Mate Rimac founded Rimac Automobili with a vision to create the sports car of the 21st century. Soon after, they released the Rimac Concept One – the most powerful electric hypercar in the world.
Built as a concept in a department of Rimac Automobili, the first Greyp followed the footsteps of the Concept One, soon becoming the worlds most powerful E-bike.
Seeing the potential of the new e-bike, we realized that it is much more than just a side project. This is why we decided to separate and create a new company called Greyp Bikes.
We started producing and shipping our first model, the crazy fast G12s, on a larger scale in 2016. From then, we delivered our products in 27 countries of the world.
The largest car battery manufacturer in Asia invested in Rimac Automobili and Greyp, making them a 17% shareholder of the company.
Realizing that everything is becoming smart and connected, we set out on creating the next gen e-bike – the G6. In order to make sense of the large amounts of data gathered by our bike, we started developing various software services.
In the summer of 2018., Porsche AG acquired 10% stake both in Rimac Automobili and Greyp Bikes.
Integrating many of the services offered by our platform, we developed the Greyp G6 mobile app to take the riding experience to a whole new level.

BUSINESS MODEL & STRATEGY
E-bikes serve a purpose of a profitable revenue stream, but equally important, development platform & marketing tool.
The systems we develop in house consist of modular hardware elements, such as batteries, BMS and central intelligence module (an operating system running the bike itself), and white label software developed using our platform services. All our systems will be sold or licensed to other OEM with the intention of getting more vehicles on the platform and users.
The most important element of our business model is the platform, which combines various software solutions and services developed by Greyp. At first, all of the applications built on top of our platform will be developed in house. Down the road, any third party will have access to these services to develop applications that interact with our vehicles or vehicles that are running on our technology.
